This passed weekend was pretty intense, but highly productive. Friday at 5:00 AM I left Guatemala in a 20 passenger prop plane to Flores Guatemala where I caught a “Chicken Bus” to Belize City. While in Belize I was able to spend time with Angel and Fatima Jimenez and their 10 month old little girl, Angelina (we also have an Angelina). On Saturday I was able to preach for their Men’s day, “Fear Factor”. It was very encouraging to see Mr. Jerry’s baptism afterward. On Sunday the Belize church celebrated Mother’s day with songs and special presentations, after which Mrs. Marva was baptized. As I left on Monday morning there was another woman who was about to be baptized (Praise God). Monday 7:00 AM I headed out to the Municipal Airport where I took a short flight on an island hopper to Punta Gorda, where I had my passport stamped and prepared for a boat ride to Puerto Barrios, Guatemala. Once I got to Puero Barrios I met up with José Coronado. We had lunch, spent time with the De La Roca family and repaired his bike. It was a great time of fellowship. At 4:00 PM I caught my last bus (this one was first class) for the six hour trip back to Guatemala. I was home by 10:00 PM tired, but pleased to see what God has accomplished in these two groups. There are now 37 disciples in Belize City and 7 in Puerto Barrios. Please continue to pray that God might move powefully in these two cities.
